Solar Energy is an important part of the energy mix in New York State and across the country. While a large portion of our energy comes from natural gas and hydropower, solar energy is on the rise in terms of its importance to our homes, businesses and communities.
This site provides information and resources in regard to projects being developed by US Light Energy (USLE). USLE is based in Latham, NY and has developed dozens of community solar projects in New York. We are well aware, that some developers come in from out of state and don’t meet their commitments to their host communities. That IS NOT the case with USLE. We keep our promises, meet our commitments and work as a part of the community, not against it.
